Although, Marquez seems to have an edge over Rossi because so far he has won all the five races of the 2014 season and that too from pole position. In spite of it, Marc believes that Valentino could beat him in the next round of championship. The Spaniard said in a recent interview with Autosport that Rossi will come strong in Italy as Mugello is his home circuit.

Adding to it, Marquez said still he will try his best to do his best and give a good fight to win the race, but if that did not look possible to them then, he will try to manage his advantage in the race. The 21-year old moto racing sensation said that it’s not possible to win every race, as sometimes you have to settle for second or third position in order to end up at the podium. Marc said currently they are having a good time, but they should not forget that they are taking part in the best competition that includes best riders. Though, it may seem easy to others, but we know how tough it is from the inside when they work in garage, said Respol Honda rider.

On the other hand, Movistar Yamaha’s star rider is not in a mode to joke anymore, as after the fifth round at Le Mans, France, Rossi clearly said that he will look to give Marquez a tough time in Mugello. Now the Italian rider has said that although its 25 points for winning the race in Italy like other races, but at Mugello it’s a matter of honour to win the race. Valentino also said that he is really looking forward to this weekend, as this time the race is going to take place at one of his favourite circuits. Moreover, his teammate Jorge Lorenzo has been winning at this circuit for the last three years with Yamaha and he always had some fantastic races, said Rossi.
Valentino said that this means that M1 is competitive at Mugello, but he knows that it will be extremely tough to beat Honda, especially Marquez, but we will definitely try to do that. Rossi said that it’s a good motivation to beat Marquez because his level is quite high and if one wants to finish before him then, they have to give more than 100 percent. With this statement, Rossi has clearly showed his intentions just as RiderWearhas displayed its quality and reasonably priced motorcycle clothing and products at its online store.

Valentino Rossi Says He Will Look to Give Marquez a Tough Fight in Italy

After starting fifth on the grid, Movistar Yamaha MotoGP’s Valentino Rossi pushed really hard to get into the lead right at the start of the fifth round of Grand Prix World Championship. Rossi, who was taking part in his 299th premier class race make the most of the mistake committed by Repsol Honda Team Marc Marquez and led the riders for several laps. The doctor, although, was not able to maintain the lead and he failed to hold off Marquez in lap 16. Still he managed to secure second place at Le Mans in Sunday’s race. That allowed him to seize his 150th Grand Prix podium and 10th rostrum at the French circuit.

Rossi said after the race that he is very pleased with the result and race, as he did well in the competition. The Yamaha rider said that when he saw Andrea Dovizoso and StefanBradl ahead of him in the start of the race he instantly realised that he could go at a much quicker pace than them and outstrip them. Valentino also said on this occasion that he felt good about his bike. However, according to him, he had faced more problems with the front in Sunday’s race perhaps because the track was bit more hot than the previous ones.

Rossi said in spite of it, he tried his best and his speed was not bad. The experienced rider also said that he was waiting for Marquez, Jorge Lorenzo or DaniPedrosa to come close to him, particularly Marc. Therefore, when Marc arrived behind him he pushed his bike much harder to give Honda rider a tough time, said Rossi. Unfortunately, he made a mistake at a critical time when he went too deep that allowed Marc to overtake him easily, said Valentino. He said it was a pity that he gave Marquez such easy chance to outstrip him because if he would not have done that their skirmish would have been longer.
Nonetheless, the nine-time MotoGP World Champion said that he will look to give Marc a tough fight in Mugello, Italy now. Talking about his personal milestone, Rossi said that he is pleased with 150 premier class podiums because it’s a lot and now he is not too far from achieving the 200 podiums. He said that he had a long career, but he is really working hard to stay in the competition. Perhaps that is why the veteran rider had said before the race at Le Mans that he is very much interested in extending his contract with Yamaha.
Rossi has already made it to the podium thrice in the last five races. If he continues to show the same competitiveness it’s likely that alike Honda, Yamaha may also re-sign its star rider early in the season.it is not possible predict at this point in time when really such a deal will take place, but riders, on the other hand, can definitely avail RiderWear’s hot deals on motorcycle helmets, clothing, boots and security.

Rossi’s Long Series of Race Day Rituals

You may have seen many top athletes performing various kinds of rituals before the start of a competition. Usually athletes perform these rituals for good luck, so they can perform well in the contest. However, every athlete hashis or her own routine of performing such rituals, as some perform them out of superstition. Others carry out such activities as a religious duty, which could be kissing a cross or saying a prayer. In short, today ritual and superstition have a very important role in sports and Motorsport is no exception. The nine-time MotoGP World Champion, Valentino Rossi is quite famous in this regard, as he devotedly performs a series of rituals before every race.

The first ritual that Rossi performs on a race day is watching the Moto3 race. This particular ritual does not seem odd to many, but for their knowledge Valentino do not watch the race. He just counts how many seconds green lights take to turn on to start the race. Then, before every practice, qualifying and race Rossi head towards his bike and stops just two meter away from it to bend down and reach out for his boots. Only after that Rossi approaches his motorbike. Once he gets close to the machine, Valentino bends down by holding his legs for a short time. Before, he holds the right footpeg of his bike and bow down his head as if he is praying.

According to Rossi, he performs this ritual so he could focus and talk to his machine. Valentino’s long series of ritual just does not end here, as after that he performs a bizarre ritual which perhaps no other athlete has ever performed. The veteran rider when exists the pits he stands on the foot paddle of his bike and pulls off the leather between his buttocks, before sitting on the seat again and heading to his position. Every time Rossi does that the TV director captures this moment from the camera on the back of Valentino’s bike and then plays it on air.

Thus far, Rossi has not described the purpose of performing this specific ritual. Some predicted that perhaps he may have some problems with his leathers, but this guess is wrong because Rossi uses custom made clothing. That are extremely comfortable and offer great protection just alike RiderWear’s motorcycle clothing which are high in demand among bikers whether they are from UK or any other part of the world.

The Best Race of 2014 MotoGP So Far

To date four rounds of 2014 MotoGP have been concluded and Repsol Honda Team’s Marc Marquez, the reigning World Champion, has remained victorious in all of them. All four races of the season remained pretty exciting, but for some they were little boring, as according to them Marquez clearly dominated the riders in these competitions. Whereas, others believe that each race of the season was full of action and surprises, as they get to see numerous crashes and some stirring moves. For instance, riders like Andrea Dovizioso of Ducati Team and Stefan Bradlof LCR Honda MotoGP showed some tremendous skills to end up in the top five riders in two of the four races.

Moreover, this year competition is more tough than last year, as several riders had already admitted it. In fact,Movistar Yamaha MotoGP’s Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo are two prominent examples in this regard. The duo had to really work hard to finish as front leaders in the 2014 Grand Prix races. Besides this, MotoGP fans also get to see some great skirmishes between riders to take the lead. The first of these battles was seen in the opening race in Qatar when Marquez and Rossi fought hard with each other to gain the lead. Marc won that battle as he outstripped Rossi in the penultimate lap to seize his first victory of the season.

The second race of the season then took place at the Circuits of The Americas (COTA), Austin, Texas, which was more like a one sided affair, as Marquez won the contention without any problem. His top rival Rossi finished eighth in Austin, as he faced some technical issue with this bike. The MotoGP riders then flew to Argentina to take part in the third round of the World Championship. Since the track and conditions were new for most of the riders, so it proved a pretty challenging race for even top leaders. Given that Marquez did not get a good start and he got stuck in the crowd, which forced him to fall as low as seventh.

Yamaha’s Lorenzo, on the other hand, got a great start and he guided all the riders in most part of the race. Before Marquez finally demonstrated his skills and fought his way up from seventh to snatch the lead Jorge in lap 12. Following the footsteps of his teammate Honda’s other rider DaniPedrosa also made the charge and reached right behind Lorenzo to begin the battle for second place. The skirmish between the two dynamic riders brought the fans to the edge of their seats, as fight between them continued till the penultimate lap. It is at that point in time Pedrosa got the chance to outclass tired Lorenzo to finish second after Marquez.

The fourth round of the MotoGP brought the smiles back on the faces of Rossi’s fans, as the veteran rider finished second. However, as usual Rossi, Lorenzo and Pedrosa failed to catch Marquez, who registered his fourth victory in a row to become the first rider after MickDoohan, who has won first four races of the MotoGP. Pedrosa secured third, Lorenzo remained fourth, while Dovizioso seized fifth spot in that competition.

Overall, 2014 season proved an absolute delight for the fans, but it is yet to be determined, which of the four races was the best. As far as I am concerned, competition in Argentina was the best of all. Just as the motorcycle gears, helmets, boots, gloves and other accessories of RiderWear are finest of all.

Ducati’s Andrea Dovizioso Admits He Used Wrong Front Tyre in Argentina

Andrea Dovizioso of Ducati Team finished third at the Circuits of The Americas (COTA) after showing spectacular pace in the second round of the 2014 MotoGP season. Therefore, many were expecting that Dovizioso would show another solid performance to reach podium in the Termas de Rio Hondo race. Unfortunately, it never happened as both Dovizioso and his teammate Michele Pirro failed to put up a good show at Argentinean circuit finishing 9th and 17th respectively. According to Dovizioso, it was a difficult race for him and he never thought that it would be that tough for him. The Ducati rider also revealed that he was unlucky that apart from tyre he also faced an engine problem which led the oil to come out and as a result he lost some power.

Dovizioso also admitted that he choose wrong front tyre, as it did not allow him to brake and put stress on the front wheel. It does not mean at all that the 28-year old Italian rider did not make an effort to get into the leading position in Argentina. Dovizioso instantly got into action as the race in Argentina tipped off, as he was among the riders who fought to gain leading positions right in the first lap. In fact, his effort did pay off as Dovizioso gained second place when cruised past the line on lap 2. Unluckily, he failed to maintain his position, ashis front tyre started causing some problem which enabled his rivals to surpass him in the next few laps.

Despite finishing 9th in Argentina, Dovizioso still holds a strong position in overall standings of the riders, as with 34 points he sits at fourth spot. This suggests that Dovizioso still has not lost much ground and if he manages to show a better performance in Jerez on this weekend it is highly likely that he can improve his position in the standings.

On the other hand, Dovizioso’s teammate Pirro failed to find his rhythm throughout the entire race in Argentina. Now it remains to be seen how Ducati Team will perform in the upcoming round of the Grand Prix that will take place in the south of Spain on this Sunday. The Ducati Corse General Manager, Luigi Dall’Igna is still quite hopeful, as he said that they are confident and positive that they will do well in the upcoming races, but they need to do a lot of work before that.Just as RiderWear’s team put up a lot of effort to offer its customers only best motorcycle clothing and accessories at unbeatable rates.
