Valentino Rossi says He will Renew His Contract With Yamaha in 2015

Before the start of 2014 MotoGP, Yamaha’s star rider Valentino Rossi said on number of occasions that his performance in the initial round of the current season would be the key in determining whether he would continue his career as a Grand Prix rider.

However, now it seems that the Italian stallion has already reached a decision just after the first round of the MotoGP, as sharing his 2015 plans with Sky, Rossi said that he think that he will renew his contract with Yamaha. The Movie star Yamaha MotoGP rider also said that he was never thinking about quitting the job.




This new statement from Rossi will give his fans a huge sigh of relief, as perhaps they too did not want him to quit at this stage. Especially, after Italian rider gave current World Champion Marc Marquez a good run in the opening race of 2014 season in Qatar. The 2013 season was not too bad either for the 35 year old rider as he made it to the podium six times during the period, which includes a victory at TT Circuit Assen in Netherlands.

Beside this, Rossi has also won nine motoGPWorld Championships and he is one of the few riders in the premier class, who is lucky to have such a long career. Rossi also said during his latest interview that he is in good form and most of all racing gives him immense pleasure. Yamaha’s rider also said that riding is the most amusing thing and he love the lifestyle of a Grand Prixrider, who have to train hard and gets to travel around the world. Therefore, Rossi said that till he is competitive he hopes to continue his passion.

Talking about the upcoming rounds of motoGP, Rossi said that now it remains to be seen how competitive they will be in Texas and Argentina in order to see whether they have managed to do better than 2013. According to Rossi, last year’s race in Qatar was good, but this year it was even better because he managed to achieve second position and 20 valuable points.

The Italian said that he had ridden at good level during his entire career, but now it’s getting more challenging.Therefore, he said that they need to be more competitive because winning the World Championship again is not going to be an easy task, but if the he manages to remain at the front on every Sunday it will be good.

When it was asked from Rossi who is likely to win this year’s MotoGP title, the straightforward rider said instantly said Marquez with a smile on his face, but he added that he will try his best to give him a tough time.
