Marc Marquez Look to Get Even in Front of Home Crowd

Valentino Rossi finally managed to dominate all the riders at Misano after a long time, as the doctor won the 13th MotoGP round without facing much trouble. However, many believe that Rossi was able to register that victory because reigning MotoGP World Champion Marc Marquez lost his momentum after crashing his bike when he was chasing him. The Honda rider said that he committed the first mistake of the season at Misano which forced him to finish the race in 15th place. Therefore, now Marquez will definitely be looking to strike back in the next round of the world championship. Given that Misano mishap has scrapped his plans of winning the MotoGP title in front of the home crowd.

In fact, Marc has already said that he will change the winning every race approach in the future rounds but only after the race in Aragon because it is home race. This clearly depicts that the 21-year Spaniard is in no mood to lose the competition in front of the Spanish fans on this weekend.

On the other hand, first and second positions for the Movistar Yamaha riders must have boosted their morals. So both Rossi and Jorge Lorezno will be looking to dominate the Marc and his partner Dani Pedrosa in Aragon once again. Especially Rossi because he is just one point behind Pedrosa and another good finish can put him in the second place in overall standings.

Andrea Dovizioso of Ducati Team, who finished fourth place in Italy, may also be looking to reach the podium in Aragon as hee has already missed it couple of times. And so does his future team partner Andrea Iannone of Pramac Racing as he finished the last race just behind Dovizioso. Although, NGM Forward Racing’s Aleix Espagaro, Monster Yamaha Tech 3’s Pol Espargaro and Bradley Smith, LCR Honda MotoGP’s Stefan Bradl, GO&FUN Honda Gresini’s Alvaro Bautista and Ducati Teams’ Cal Crutchlow may not be thinking on the same line. But they all will definitely be looking to finish among the top ten riders on this Sunday.

In the meantime, the Drive M7 Aspar team will finally welcome its star rider Nicky Hayden back in Aragon. The American rider was taking a break from the premier class racing after undergoing a wrist surgery. It means that MotoGP fans will see another exciting round of the Grand Prix the next time all the premier class riders will gather to race in Aragon.

KTM Announces to Join MotoGP Class in 2017 Season

It seems that MotoGP grid is going to further expand in the coming years as after Suzuki and Aprilia, now renowned Austrian motorcycle manufacturer KTM has decided to jump into MotoGP. The revelation came from none other than KTM's head of motorsport, Pit Beirer, himself, as he confirmed that KTM will enter in premier class racing in 2017.

Talking to MotoGP.com, Beirer said that initially they had plans to enter in the Moto2 class and grow by taking small steps, but it did not make much sense to them because building a KTM bike with Honda engine would never give them a real KTM machine.

Thus, we decided to jump directly into MotoGP, said Pit. He also said that they are already quite busy with the project and are doing everything to get ready for 2017 season.

Adding to it, Beirer, who himself was a Motocross racer, said that their MotoGP bike will most probably boast a V4 engine, a tubular steel frame along with a WP suspension. It is anticipated that the testing of KTM’s MotoGP bike will begin till the end of this year.

KTM has plenty of experience in small Grand Prix classes as it has been regularly competing in them after making its debut in 2003. However, its premier class racing experience is limited and it was not too good either, as its hapless partnership with Team Roberts back in 2005 did not bear any fruit.

In contrast to its performance in MotoGP, KTM has done relatively quite well in Moto3, as it has won the 2013 title with Australian rider Jack Miller. In fact, it is at the top in this season as well and considered as favourite to win the Moto3 title once again.

So now it remains to be seen how well KTM will do in the MotoGP class in 2017 and how it will adapt to the Michelin tyres that will introduced in 2016.

At this stage, it is hard to predict how KTM will cope with the premier class challenge. However, one thing is for sure that RiderWear’s top-notch motorcycle clothing, helmets, shoes, gloves and even accessories will stand the test of time.

Owing to the fact, that these products of RiderWear are extremely high in quality and thus offer great value for money. No matter, whether you are a motocross racer or a usual rider who hits the road on daily basis, RiderWear’s motorcycle products offer protection to all of them.

Marc Marquez Looking to Change a Good Habit

After crashing in the middle stage of the San Marino Grand Prix, Repsol Honda Team’s star rider Marc Marquez has finally decided to change his mental approach. According to the latest update, the reigning MotoGP world champion has states that it’s time for him to change his victory mentality, but only after the race in Aragon.

Talking to the press, Marc said that till this race in Misano his mentality was just to win every race because championship advantage was pretty big. However, now he is not looking to manage that advantage by securing another position, as he tried to manage it by taking extra risk, said Marquez.

The Honda rider said that on Sunday he took the chance by following Rossi, but both Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino were a little bit stronger than them. Marquez continued by saying that he tried to push hard in the race as he was able to chase Rossi, but now perhaps it’s time for him to change his approach.

However, he will change that mentality only after Aragon as it’s a home race, but as far as other rounds are concerned he will change his approach to gain points for the title, said Marquez.

Previously, Marc has asserted on various occasions that he would be happy with a podium finish if it was not possible for him to win the race. In spite of it, the 21-year-old Spanish rider was seen fighting furiously in most of the 11 races that he had won during this season.

Marquez started the race in Misano with same attitude that he had shown in the previous races as he was aggressively chasing race leader Valentino Rossi. When suddenly at a corner in lap 10 Marc lost the front and slide across the track while he was trying to take a fast turn.

Fortunately, Marquez remained unhurt and he was able to re-join the race to finish 15th in the competition. Prior to Misano, Brno was the only place where the youngest MotoGP world champion was not able to win the race as he finished fourth.

Still Marquez is leading all the leadings in the chart with a huge margin of 74 points over second positioned Dani Pedrosa. Earlier, MotoGP fans were hoping that Marc will win the championship at Aragon, but the points he had lost on last Sunday have scrapped that possibility now. As a result, now MotoGP fans have to wait a little bit more to see Marquez take the crown.

In contrast, you will not have to wait for anything to buy high performance motorcycle clothing, helmet or any other accessory because some excellent deals are already available at its online shop.

Marc Marquez Explains What Made Him Commit the Mistake at Misano

Valentino Rossi finally won his first race of the 2014 season at Misano on Sunday, September 14, as Marc Marquez committed an error and crashed his bike to finish 15th. In spite of the crash, the reigning MotoGP world champion said that he is content with his performance. Marquez crashed his Honda RC213V on lap 10 at Rio corner when he was in hot pursuit of Rossi.
Luckily, Marc remained unhurt and he instantly got up on his feet after the crash and was able to restart his bike with the assistance of some officials. The Honda rider then fought his way up to finish the race by earning a singular point.

Marquez, who got back on the saddle to claim 15th position, said after the race that he was pretty happy how the things have went at Misano despite the crash. According to Marquez it was his first mistake of the season because the other day he did not even thought that he would be able to match with Rossi and Lorenzo.
The Repsol Honda rider also said that Yamahas had bit more speed as compared to them, but still they managed to get quite close to them. Marc added that he thought that there is a chance of fighting with Rossi for the victory, but unfortunately that did not happen because if the mistake he committed. Shedding light on his mistake Marquez said that he was riding over the inner side of the rumble strip and that made him lost his front.

The 21-year old Spaniard said that he was lucky that he managed to re-join the race, continued to show good pace and seized a point that could prove quite vital in the future.
Despite failing to end up among the top ten riders, Marquez still enjoys a massive lead of 74 points in the overall standings. However, the crash at Misano has definitely hurt his efforts to win the second title of his premier class racing career in front of his home crowd at Aragon. That is where the next round of MotoGP will take place.

That’s not all Rossi victory at Misano has also reduced his points difference with Pedrosa (215), as Valentino (214) is now just one point short of him. This means that if Rossi manages to finish the next race before Dani, he will be able to secure the second position in the world championship standings.
And if you are looking to buy an excellent quality motorcycle helmet at low price then, you can get one from the online shop of RiderWear.

Where Yamaha Can Notch its First Victory? (Part 1)

Just five rounds are left in 2014 MotoGP World Championship but winning a race is still a dream of Movistar Yamaha MotoGP team. In fact, this task is getting tougher and tougher with every passing weekend, as Repsol Honda Team has dominated the men in blue during most part of the season. With Marc Marquez leading the standings by winning 11 of the 12 races and his teammate Dani Pedrosa has also been able to do well. Pedrosa holds second place in the chart and won the race in Brno when Marquez had an off day.

It is feared that if Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo continues to stay behind Honda in the upcoming rounds then, Yamaha could remain winless during this season. The last that had happened was back in 2003, when Rossi was with Honda, Jorge was racing in 125cc category and Marquez was just 10 years old.

So the question here is that whether Yamaha can really beat Honda? If yes then at which circuit the pair in blue have more chances to outshine the Honda riders? The two-wheel experts Chris Vermeulen and Kevin Magee have recently shared their view on where they believe Yamaha could notch its first victory.

Aragon
Last year Marquez won the race in Aragon, whereas Lorenzo finished second and Rossi remained third.

This year Vermeulen believes that Yamaha has a good chance of nailing the bar because the long corners and slow hairpins will favour them. However, they are likely to struggle a little on the straight. Magee also has a similar view as he said that Yamaha will get hammered at the straight track but they will be able to return the favour in the corners. Therefore, the verdict is that Yamaha has a good chance of winning the race in Aragon in spite of the fact that the circuit has long straights.

Now it remains to be seen to what extent Magee and Vermeulen’s predictions will prove true. In the meantime, you can go to RiderWear’s website and avail some amazing deals on motorcycle helmets.

Valentino Rossi's VR46 Moto3 Team Loses its Manager Vittoriano Guareschi

Valentino Rossi's VR46 Moto3 team has received a sudden jolt just when it was looking to further improve its points in the season. According to the official announcement by VR46 their team manager, Vittoriano Guareschi has parted his ways with the team. Guareschi has made this move because he had joined a new project by the Ducati MotoGP team that is backed by Sky and KTM.

However, his future plans and the reason for departure are still not clear, but one thing is for sure that Rossi’s closest friends Alessio 'Uccio' Salucci and Carlo Alberto Tebaldi will now temporarily take the charge. The two gentlemen will be assisted by Luca Brivio, who has been promoted as Team Coordinator. Previously, Brovio was working as the supervisor of the VR46 team.
On this occasion the VR46 wished Guareschi all the best for his future endeavours and sincerely thanked him for his remarkable contribution towards the team. The VR46 also acknowledged that it was Guareschi who had built and commissioned the team.

The race-winning team of Rossi also ratified in its official statement that VR46 and Sky’s will continue to groom young Italian riders on the most significant race venues in the world. The next race will now take place at Misano pn September 14.

At this point in time, VR46’s Romano Fenati is enjoying fifth position in the world championship, as thus far he has reached the podium on five occasions of which three were race victories. However, Fenati failed to secure any points on four occasions, whereas his teammate Francesco Bagnaia is at 15th spot after the last race at Silverstone circuit.
Guareschi’s departure in the mid of the season not only seems bit odd, but it is likely that it may hurt the VR46 team’s efforts. Given that the Moto3 team has a chance to seize second or third position in the world championship. Romano (135) is 10 points behind fourth positioned Efren VAZQUEZ (145) and 15 points behind Alex RINS (150).

Now it remains to be seen how Fenati and Rossi’s close friends, who have recently gained promotion, will perform in the future as pressure is definitely going to be on them.

But you do not need to take any pressure because RiderWear, UK’s leading motorcycle shop, has stocked a wide range of helmets, gloves, shoes, clothing, protective gear and other accessories. And you can buy any of these items at very affordable prices.

English Rider Leon Camier Upset Over His Performance at Silverstone

When the Drive M7 Aspar team gave Leon Camier the chance to ride its bike in the absence of their experienced racer Nicky Hayden, the British rider grabbed the opportunity with both hands. The WSBK frontrunner and BSB winner made a good start by scoring a point for Aspar team at Brno where he managed to finish in the 15th place. So when the MotoGP riders once again gathered in England to take part in the British Grand Prix on Sunday, August 31st Camier was keen to improve his position. Unfortunately, this time Camier failed secure a point for his team as his fears soon confirmed when the Englishman started facing the braking issue.

As a result, Camier had a frustrating home race. The Drive M7 rider finished the competition in 16th place and missed to seize a point this time. Leon said after the race that he believe that they could done better. He said that as soon as he went out there he felt that there is some issue with the brakes. According to Camier, the brakes did not slow him down the way they used to because of which he was close to ran off the track during the warm-up lap.

In spite of it, Camier said that he was able to make a good start in the race as he made some excellent passes, but soon he realized that the brakes are not working fine. Leon said he continued running deep on the track but failed to use the brakes as he wanted. After that his brake lever beginning to come back and it took him a couple of laps to deal with that issue, said Camier. He added that since he had never faced a brake fade issue so it was definitely a different thing for him.

Camier said consequently he had to completely change his style of riding because his bike was not braking the way he wanted it, which as a matter of fat was quite frustrating. The British rider said then he started facing some grip problem as well as then rear tyre started sliding.

Leon said due to these issues with his bike he was not able to show his true skills at Silverstone, which was pretty disappointing for him. Adding to it he said that he feel that he is not riding the way he can, not confidently. He was not able to leave the gas and take the turns the way he actually wanted to the Englishman explained.

The Aspar rider said despite of these issues he tried to ride the bike as best as he could but they were missing something. Camier said that they need to test and change something radically on the machine in order to make it perform better.

Leon finished 6.5 seconds behind the NGM Forward Racing’s Alex de Angelis, while his partner Hiroshi Aoyama secured 14th place. Now it remains to be seen whether Camier gets a chance to fix and ready his bike for the next round in Misano or Aspar will bring back Hayden in his place if he gets fit.

Until further updates you can visit RiderWear’s online shop and buy your desired motorcycle helmets, clothing, gloves, shoes and various accessories at extremely affordable prices.

Valentino Rossi Finishes Third to Reach the Podium for the First Time at Silverstone Circuit

After making his 246 start in the premier class racing on August 31st, Sunday at Silverstone circuit the Movistar Yamaha MotoGP rider Valentino Rossi once again managed to reach the podium. The Italian rider finished third at the British Grand Prix after starting from the seventh position, as he moved up several positions. However, during the course Ducati Team’s Andrea Divizioso gave Rossi a tough time in the first four laps. In fact, at one stage NGM Forward Racing’s rider Aleix Espargaro was also involved in the fight, but only for a brief period.

The battling group was then joined by Repsol Honda Team’s Dani Pedrosa. Before Rossi made the move and outstripped Dovizioso on the lap five with Dani following his lead by passing the Ducati rider. That gave place to midrace battle between Rossi and Pedrosa, but the doctor showed his class and gain advantage on lap 13. After which the nine-time World Champion never looked back and finished in the third place just eight and a half seconds behind the victorious rider Marc Marquez. This was the first time that Rossi was able to reach the podium at Silverstone and that too perhaps in the last race at this venue.

The 246 premier class start by Rossi at Silverstone circuit enabled the Yamaha rider to surpass Alex Barros’s start record in the premier class racing. Also, Rossi has managed to bridge the gap between him and Pedrosa as he is now just 10 points behind the Honda rider in the overall standings.

Reflecting on the race, Rossi said that it was his first podium at Silverstone because usually they struggle a lot at this venue. He said he extremely pleased about his pace in the start. Rossi added that Lorenzo pushed very hard as he slowly picked up pace in the early laps. According to Valentino, there was not much gap between him and Dovi so he stressed the tyre a lot in order to surpass him.

However, later he had to reduce the stress in order to save the tyre, said Valentino. He said that still it was great battle with Predrosa and Dovizioso, as they managed to achieve lot of positive things. More importantly, they remained successful in reaching the podium, said Rossi. Adding to it he said that now they have to take another step in order to be 100 percent ready for Misano within two weeks because it will be his home Grand Prix and they will have to do well in order to give their maximum.

Just the way RiderWear, a premium motorcycle store in the United Kingdom, makes serious efforts to make the best quality motorcycle clothing, helmets and accessories available for riders at cheap prices.

Movistar Yamaha MotoGP Jorge Lorenzo Says Marc Marquez Will Break Valentino Rossi’s Records

Movistar Yamaha MotoGP rider Jorge Lorenzo has reckoned that Repsol Honda Team’s Marc Marquez is going to beat Valentino Rossi’s records and become the all-time great MotoGP rider. Lorenzo has made this prediction after seeing Marquez’s success in the premier class racing. The 21-year Spaniard has made his debut in MotoGP during last year and managed to win the title in his rookie season. The young Marquez then started the 2014 Grand Prix season from where he left, as he went to win to opening 10 races. Before his teammate put halted his winning streak by winning the 11th round of the MotoGP at Brno, whereas Marquez ended up seizing the fourth place in the race.

Nevertheless, it seems that Brno’s result did not much effect Marc’s moral, as he still looks confident. In fact, in his recent meetings with the press he said that they had overcome the problem that they were facing with the bike and now they are positive. Perhaps that’s why Lorenzo is of the view that he can break Rossi’s record. However, Jorge also said that he can do so only if he does not get injured, if he continues to have a very strong machine like the one he possess now, if he continue to train like the way he is working out now and the keeps the motivation that he has now.

Lorenzo made this prediction while talking to the Australian Grand Prix podcast. The Yamaha rider also said that Marc is extremely talented and he is still not afraid of anything. According to Jorge Marquez has everything, as he is young, ambitious, talented and has a good team and good bike. Therefore, no doubt that Lorenzo has made a solid predication because Marquez a great track whether it’s MotoGP, Moto2 or 125cc category. The youngs man from Spain has won the title at least once in all three categories of racing and now he is eyeing to win his second MotoGP World Championship title.

Moreover, he has already set several new records. One of these records is winning the opening 10 races during a single season which had made him the all-time great rider. In addition, Marquez has won his MotoGP title when he was just 20 years old, whereas Rossi won his first top class title at the age of 21. The skilful racer also has a remarkable lead over Rossi in the 2014 overall standings, where he is comfortably sitting at the top with 263 points, which gave him a solid lead of 90 points over Valentino.
That’s not all Marquez also has another unusual edge over his rivals, which truly makes him a one of a kind of rider, as he is known for using the amount of kerb more than any other MotoGP rider from the current lot. The most surprising thing that Honda rider says is that sometimes, he gets better grip in the painted area as compared to the track. In contrast, his rivals do not have much faith in the kerbs. From this one can judge the level of skills this young boy possesses.

Just the way not every other MotoGP rider can match the skills of Marquez in the same way not every second motorcycle store in the UK can offer you high quality helmets, gears and accessories at cheap price as RiderWear can.

Cal Crutchlow Switching from One team to Another

The British MotoGP rider Cal Crutchlow is one of the premier class riders of this season, who had decided to part ways with his current team. According to Call it did not work out as he had originally planned it, so with mutual understanding Ducati and he decided to terminate the agreement. He also said that Ducati is pretty happy to have two fantastic riders, who will represent it in next season. On the other hand, he too got a good offer from LCR Honda so it was pretty straight forward for both the parties, said Crutchlow.

However, surprising thing was that Crutchlow had signed a two-year deal with Ducati in August 2013. And it took him just first nine rounds off 2014 MotoGP season to reach the decision that he would not be able to do well with Ducati. Nevertheless, Cal was not the first rider who decided to move away from Ducati. The experienced Movistar Yamaha MotoGP rider Valentino Rossi also made a similar move, when he realized that he would not be able to win with Ducati. But as compared to Crutchlow, Rossi parted its ways with the Italian team after serving his full two-year contract with Ducati.

At this point in time Cal is at number 14 in the overall standings of the riders with 36 points and his best finish during this season was at sixth place. In contrast to him, his partner Andrea Dovizioso was able to achieve lot better results. After 11 rounds Dovizioso had earned 118 points, reached the podium on two occasions and secured fifth place in the standings. So the question arises why did not things work out so well for Cal? When, his teammate was able to put up a better performance with the similar kind of machine.

One notion is that Cal was not willing to change his riding style for Ducati, which he had improved after spending three long years and inspiring from Yamaha’s Jorge Lorenzo style. In response to his theory, Cal had said he made an effort to change his style, but instead of getting better things got even worse. The rider from the Great Britain said that initially he was resolute that he would not change his riding style, but still he had to make a slight change.

However, this change still has not worked for him, so he is of the view that the style he was using earlier was producing better results than now. When, he is trying to change his riding style. He also said that Ducati is quite good when it comes to braking zone, but unfortunately that is not his strongest point. So he said that definitely he had to make a change, but the way he likes to have the breaks to be is simply unsuitable for the bike. He added that though he had made slight change in style but honestly it’s not making much of a difference.

But you will certainly able to make a solid impression with the high performance motorbike helmets, gloves, gears and other accessories, if you have bought them from UK’s leading motorcycle store RiderWear.

Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo Believes Honda has ‘Found Something’ More This Year

Besides Marc Marquez’s excellent riding, Valentino Rossi believes that Honda has discovered something else with its RC213V machine in this year that has enabled it to increase the gap. The seven time world champion said that though they had improved their bike a little, but they still need to improve it in lots of other areas, Rossi said so because for him Honda was already quite fast during last year, but the gap between Marc’s machine and Yamaha was less at that time. This year they have ‘found something’ in the chassis as well as in the electronics that has increased the gap between their bikes, said Rossi.

Nevertheless, Valentino still believes that they not far, but they need work on some areas. He added that they always push Yamaha hard to make improvements. Also, it seemed to him that they put the rear tyre slightly under more stress as compared to Honda. Therefore, Rossi said that it always get tough for them to compete with Honda in the last phase of the race and also because Marquez rides extremely well.

Rossi’s teammate Jorge Lorenzo was also present on this occasion and he agreed with his partner by saying that his bike is now more stable to ride, more steady in acceleration and more easily maintains a constant pace till the last laps. However, it appears that Honda has something more, particularly in braking said Jorge. He added that they can hit the brake very late and can lean their bike in the corners very early. In contrast, Yamaha pair is unable to do that therefore Lorenzo said that they need to do a lot of work in that area in the future.

In spite of it, Jorge feels that they have some positive points too such as more speed in the corners. Unfortunately, that is not enough to give a tough fight to Honda on all occasions, said Lorenzo. However, the two-time MotoGP world champion believe that at Indianapolis he would have stayed with Marquez till the end if he did not apply the brakes so early. The young rider also said that Rossi over took Dovizioso, they made a contact as a result he lost a few seconds.

Lorenzo said that when he secured the second position they over took him once again, so if he would have maintained the second position probably he could have managed to stick with Marquez till the end because there was very little difference in their lap times. He said that if was not too aggressive at that point in time that is why he had finished a few seconds late than Marc.

At this stage, one cannot predict whether the two Yamaha riders will be able to give Marquez a tough time in Brno after learning from their mistakes. However, one thing is for sure that it’s not going to be easy for them to match with Marc, as the rider has already made a mark by leading all the riders in the opening practice session Czech Republic MotoGP.

Thanks to the private test that Honda conducted last month at Brno, as Marquez made good use of that information. This enabled the young Spaniard to once again cross the finish line before Lorenzo, teammate Dani Pedrosa, Aleix Espargaro and Rossi in the first free practice session at Brno.

You too can be a leader like Marquez if you stop compromising on quality because now RiderWear is offering high quality motorcycle helmets, gears, accessories and clothing at extremely low price.

Marc Marquez Says It’s So Difficult to Win All 18 Races

With every victory reigning MotoGP World Champion Marc Marquez is creating a new history. It can be judged from the fact that last Sunday he won his 10th Grand Prix in a row and equalled the record of former Repsol Honda Mick Doohan. The triumph at Indianapolis circuit also made Marquez the first rider after Giacomo Agostini (1970) to win opening 10 races in a season. As a result, more and more people are now talking about a perfect sweep in all 18 races and the latest addition to this list is none other than Doohan himself. The former great rider of Honda has said that it is highly likely that Marquez will create history by winning all the races of the 2014 season.
However, Marc himself does not believe that he could do it, as he said that it’s ‘so difficult’. The 21-year old Spaniard said during a press meeting when he was asked to summarize his success that every weekend he thinks that perhaps now the time has arrived that he would end up crossing the line in second or third place. Here is the time when I will struggle, but luckily with every race he is feeling more strong, said Marquez.

According to Marquez the most import thing is that he is enjoying it and as we have seen his team enjoy each victory as if it’s their first one, which keeps their concentration and motivation going. However, it’s very tough to win every round, said Marc. He also said that Both Yamaha riders were quite close to him in Indianapolis and next two tracks in Brno and Silverstone are the ones where they struggled during last year, whereas Yamaha was quite strong. Nevertheless, there first aim is to win the race obviously, said the Spanish sensation.

Marc is now just two wins away from equalling the all-time 12 victories record of Doohan during a season, which he set back in 1997. Considering all the uncertainties and in the light of conservative estimate one can say that there is a high probability that Marquez can break this record. So MotoGP fans are now excitedly waiting for the next rounds of the 2014 season.

As far as Marquez’s latest triumph is concerned, he won it in a familiar fashion. He got of to a slow start before capitalizing on his position and eventually making the move that allowed him to lead all the riders until he crossed the chequered flag.

Expressing his thoughts on the race, Marc said that the skirmish at the beginning was very thrilling and as always he did not get a good start. According to him the track had a very high temperature that changed his feeling regarding the front tyre. At that point in time, he said to himself let’s stay behind Valentino Rossi in the first ten laps of the race.

Then at lap 11 Marquez did what he is best at. He crafted a spontaneous move that put him in the lead right away. The Repsol Honda rider was looking to defend his second position from Jorge Lorenzo at one point in lap 11. However, in the next moment he went a little wide and outstripped both Lorenzo and Rossi in one go. After which the Spaniard never looked back and crossed the finish line well before the Yamaha pair, as he outshined them with a big margin of 1.8 sec.

Marquez has now earned a perfect 250 points with his 10th victory and he has further extended his championship lead over second positioned Dani Pedrosa, who had a slight off-day at Indianapolis. But you on the other hand will certainly have a great day, if you shop from UK’s leading motorcycle store RiderWear. That offers high performance products at extremely low prices.

Marc Marquez Hopes to Register His 10th Straight Victor This Weekend

The mid-season break in MotoGP is about to get over now, as the riders have already started gathering in Indianapolis, USA. That will host the 10th race of the 2014 season on this Sunday, Aug 10, 2014. Nearly all riders have taken the advantage of the break, as some have gone through different surgeries, while others took rest to recharge themselves for the rest of the season.

One of these riders is 21-year old Marc Marquez, who is the current MotoGP world champion and he has won all nine races in the first half of the season. Now the young Spaniard is looking to continue his perfect run by winning the 10th race in Indianapolis.

The Repsol Honda Team rider said on this Thursday that he has rested well and now he is eager to ride in the second half of the season at the famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway circuit. Marquez said that they had rested in the holidays one or more week but now they are all set to go in again. He also said that they are keen to ride again and to see the new layout of the Indianapolis circuit.

Marquez has already created a new history by becoming the youngest ever rider to win nine races in a row. That has enabled him to secure a perfect 225 points for his team and given him the number one position in the overall standings. Moreover, Marc has a solid lead of 77 points over the second position rider, Dani Pedrosa his teammate.

So now it has become almost impossible for any rider to snatch the number one position from Marquez during this season, even he fails to finish first in some the upcoming races. Still, his rivals are of the view that they need to stop him from winning so they can make themselves look little better.

As far as the changes in the Indianapolis circuit are concerned, riders will see some improvements in the track. These changes were made after last year’s race when the circuit was criticized for being too bumpy. Valentino Rossi, who has recently seen the Indy track said that there are big improvements, as lot of bumps are gone now and the surface is looking lot better than before. Unluckily, MotoGP US fans would be able to see their favourite home boy, Nicky Hayden, racing at this weekend, as he still in the recovery process after receiving surgical treatment on his wrist. Expressing his grief, Hayden said that the surgical treatment went well, but he is annoyed over missing the home race.

However, you have not missed the opportunity to buy a high quality and great looking motorcycle helmet from RiderWear at cut price, as the stock still lasts. So hurry up and buy a high performance helmet for yourself today before someone else avails this chance.

Valentino Rossi Says Upcoming Races Will Take Place on Tracks That are Difficult for Him

After a poor 2013 MotoGP season, Movistar Yamaha MotoGP’s star rider Valentino Rossi made a staggering start in the 2014 season. In fact, the doctor was able to give a tough time to Repsol Honda Team riders Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa, who are currently leading the overall standings chart. The Italian rider was able to finish second in Qatar, Jerez, Le Mans, Mugello and Catalunya in his quest to win the race. However, now in the second half of the 2014 season Rossi is heading to tracks, which according to him are ‘difficult’ for him.

One of these difficult tracks is Indianapolis that will host the next race of the 2014 season at this weekend. It was in 2008 when Rossi was able to reach the podium at Indianapolis as after that he was never able to reach the rostrum at the circuit.

Making this revelation the doctor said that the break was very crucial for him, as he was able to get some rest and rejuvenate himself for the second half of the 2014 MotoGP season in the best way. Adding to it, Rossi said that the upcoming races are going to be tough because they will take place on tracks that are difficult for him.

Valentino also admitted that Indianapolis is not his favourite track, but since its asphalt and layout has been changed, so he is interesting to see how it will go. The experienced rider said that they expect themselves to be competitive at Indianapolis and also in the rest of races of the second half of the season.

The entire infield of the Indianapolis circuit has been resurfaced, while slight changes have been made in turns 3, 4, 7, 15 and 16. So now it remains to be seen how Rossi will perform on this track in the upcoming race. Still one cannot completely rule him out of the contest because Valentino is the third best rider of this season with 141 points.

Although, he is 84 points behind current World Champion of MotoGP but there is just 7 points difference between Rossi and Pedrosa, who is enjoying second position in the standings. Moreover, the doctor is still the best rider of Yamaha, as he holds the all-time record of premier class starts for the Japanese manufacturer.

Another thing that gives Yamaha an edge is the Valentino’s teammate Jorge Lorenzo is also not a bad rider. In fact, Lorenzo has a good record at Indianapolis circuit, as till this day he has been able to reach the podium on five occasions. So one can say that Movistar Yamaha’s team is still very competitive and could give a tough run to their rivals at Indianapolis.

LCR Honda’s Boss Says They are Looking to Add Another Rider Along with Cal Crutchlow

The LCR Honda made it known on Sunday, Aug 3, 2014 that it has struck one year deal with current Ducati team rider Cal Crutchlow. This announcement confirmed that Cal will ride their Honda RC213V Factory machine in the 2015 season of MotoGP in new Team colours, as CWM is now the new sponsor of the team. However, now it seems that the 29-year old British rider would not be the only one who will ride the LCR machine in the next premier class racing season. According to the latest update, the CEO of the LCR Honda, Lucio Cecchinello has an intention to add another rider in the team.

Cecchinello made this revelation just one day after the announcement of their contract with Cal, while talking to MotoGP.com. The executive of the LCR said that the contract they had signed with Crutchlow is just for 2015 season. Then, they have an option to consider him for 2016 season, but it will be based on the results Cal will produce in the next season, said Lucio. Adding to it, he said that they also need to keep the HCR side in mind.

Lucio, who himself has remained a 125cc class rider and won grand prix on seven occasions, has said that they have an intention to use a Factory Option bike for Crutchlow. Then, there is also an Open specification machine, but they have not finalized any plan or rider thus far, said Cecchinello. The CEO said that it was their first priority to get a competitive rider and have a Factory Option machine because it was there new sponsor’s (CWM) desire.

Earlier, several reports had indicated that current Moto3 Wold Championship standing leader Jack Miller will most probably be the one, whom LCR may pick for its Open specification bike. However, Cecchinello said that they had certainly approached Miller, but he is not aware about the status of any negotiations between Honda and the Moto3 rider. He also said that it depends on HRC at which available positions it would place Miller.

LCR could be that possibility, but again it would be up to the people, who are involved, said Lucio. If LCR will be able to add a second rider to its MotoGP team then, it would be first time since its premier class racing debut in 2006 that Honda would be fielding two bikes. Marc Marquez Says Winning MotoGP Title in Front of Home Crowd is Not His First Priority

Defending MotoGP champion and Repsol Honda rider Marc Marquez has managed to remain unbeaten in the first half of the 2014 season. That enabled the 21-year Spaniard to secure the first place in the overall standings of the MotoGP by collecting 225 points to take a solid lead of 77 point lead over second positioned DaniPedrosa. This means that Marquez has earned points with an average of 8.6 in each race. Considering the rate with which Marquez has earned points, it is anticipated that if he continues to perform in the same way. He will be able to have a lead of 120 points after the 14th round of MotoGP in Aragon.
That’s not all, if the forecast proves true Marquez will also be able to win the 2014 title in front of his home crowd at Valencia, Spain. That will be after the September 28th competition that will also be the last event in Europe. Though, there are not many who are of the view that Marquez is not able to win his successive title by the time Moto GP will reach Valencia. Still Marc said that it’s not his main concern in spite of the fact that he would love to be crowned as 2014 Moto GP world champion on his home soil in Aragon.

The Spanish sensation said that he is not looking to win the title already at his home because the most significant thing for him at this point in time is winning the championship. And when it will happen that does not matter, said Marc. Marquez did admit that winning elsewhere would not be same as it would be in Aragon because all his friends and family members will be at home. Nevertheless, Marquez did confess that it’s hard to think that second half of the championship will be the same as the first one.

Marquez said so because he said believe people should not forget that his teammate Dani Pedrosa and Yamaha’s Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi are very good riders and one day he will not be able to win the race. Considering this fact Marc suggested that they need to focus on managing the points lead. Even if Marquez fails to claim the title in Aragon, the next race in Japan seems to be an ideal location for the Repsol Honda Team for celebrations.
In contrast to current season, last year Marquez was able to win the title in the final showdown when he outclassed Lorenzo after a tough fight. Still half of the season has yet to begin so one can never know what will exactly happen in the future. However, one thing is for certain that you will always get a high quality motorcycle accessory or clothing from RiderWear. That offers best in-store and online shopping experience to its customers whether they from UK or any other European country.

Accidents caused by Motorcycles

Driving can be dangerous in both cases, either you are driving a motorbike or a car. If you are riding a bike, which has not the protected walls like a car, it is even more dangerous for you. Your body is more exposed to the things and surfaces out on the road while riding a motor bike as compared to a car. In a car, you still have options of protective airbags and security of your boundary walls, which might save you from much damage. Another main reason, which makes motorbike a dangerous ride, is that it is a two-wheel vehicle, which is more unstable as compared to the four-wheel vehicles running on the roads.

It might be a dangerous ride, but still there are people riding motorcycles on the road, who cannot afford a car. They do not have any other option left. If you are one of them, you can still do some precautionary measures to save yourself from possible injuries by wearing a motorcycle helmet. You can avoid getting into an accident in the first place by driving carefully and keeping your eyes on the road. Some common causes of motorcycle accidents are as follows:

1. Over-correcting- Do not over correct in a turn, it is the most common mistake made by every bike rider. People try to over correct or even correct the bike without straightening its wheels. That is why the two-wheelvehicle gets unstable and falls back on you. When a cat, dog, or a passenger crosses you, you can easily turn and move your bike out of the way to avoid an accident, because of the small size of the vehicle you are riding on. But some people, who are inexperienced riders, make common mistakes of toppling over or slipping down on the road while avoiding an obstacle on the road. Same is the case while driving a car, the driver tries to change the lane suddenly and in his haste, does an accident.

2. Following Too closely- What is the point of bumping and getting too close to the vehicle ahead? It won’t reduce your time to reach at your destination; neither would it make you a better driver. Motorcycle riders make a habit of driving too close to the vehicle ahead as if they are in a hurry. Due to the small mass of a motorbike, it needs rather less time to stop as compared to the large vehicle, which needs more break time. It might cause the rider to crash into the vehicle close to it in case the rider is not keeping its distance. Distance should be maintained while driving a motorbike. On the other hand, car drivers make the same mistake, hence, there should be a decent amount of distance to the vehicle ahead, once your car comes to a stop.

3. Not Being Seen- Chances are there that your ride has not been seen by the other drivers on the road, who are driving four-wheel vehicles. Due to the small size of your two-wheel vehicle, it might go unnoticed. Sometimes a bike is totally missed by the car or truck drivers when they try to turn left or right on the road. That might often result into a harsh accident. As a bike driver, it is your responsibility to observe all the vehicles on the road before they notice you, with this attitude you can save your life. A bike rider always has to drive on a defensive end no matter what. You should keep some extra distance from the other vehicles on the road to make yourself in the spotlight by driving in the middle of the road. In case of car drivers, you can always make your presence known on the road by installing extra loud horn in your vehicle. If you have a large vehicle, it will be seen by everyone on the road in any case.

4. Drunk Driving- Drinking while riding a bike? You must be fooling around? The day you stop caring about yourself and the people around you, you can try this trick, but not as long as you want to live and want to let live the people around you. Either driving a bike or a car once you are high, it is a dangerous act for both, you and other people on the road. It not only increases the risk factor, but also makes your ride more vulnerable to meet an accident. Especially if you are drunk while riding a motorbike, you won’t be able to balance and stable the vehicle and end up bumping to smashing into something on the road. The major cause of accidents, these days, is alcoholic drivers, which do not have any clue where they are driving and where exactly the road is, they not only risk their life but also the innocent people, who drive their way.

Accidents can be caused by both rides either a motorbike or a car, it’s not the vehicle it’s your attitude and awareness, which can cause or avoid an accident. Your careless behavior while driving can cause you a fortune. Driving both rides can be a thrilling adventure as long as you gain some extra driving skills to avoid accidents. But still there is a set of mind, who considers cars are a much safer ride then motorcycles, because of their size and body. If you are one of them and got bored of driving that motorcycle in your garage, you can buy a car anytime you desire. The best part is that selling your used car to anyone is not difficult anymore in order to buy another car. The best online platform is webuycarstoday where you cannot only evaluate your old car but can also sell it at market rate.

Aleix Espargaro Finishes First in Practice Session as Marc Marquez Crashes at Sachsenring

NGM Forward Racing’s Aleix Espargaro stunned everyone at the Sachsenring on Friday, July 11, 2014, when he finished first in the free practice (1) session of MotoGP. While, defending Moto GP World Champion Marc Marquez got baffled with a fierce crash during the session and managed to finish sixth by using his spare bike. The unfortunate crash took place when Marquez was trying to enter into Turn 3 from Turn with lot of pace. Though, Marquez managed to avoid any serious injuries, but he was feeling some pain in his neck.

In spite of it, Marquez did not waste much time and grabbed his spare bike just 15 minutes after the crash to join all the riders on the track. In fact, at one point in time during race Marquez was able to reach second position, but he was not able to capitalize the situation and eventually crossed the chequered flag in sixth place. The 21-year old Repsol Honda rider was not the only rider, who crashed his bike, as Monster Yamaha Tech 3 team’s Bradley Smith also crashed his bike and not just once but twice during the practice session.

Luckily, Smith remained unhurt in both crashes, but unlike Marc he was not able to work his way up and finished in the 12th place. On the other hand, Movistar Yamaha Moto Gp riders, Jorge Lorenzo and Valentine Rossi managed to secure second and third place respectively in the session. At one stage it appeared as if Lorenzo is going to finish the session in first place. However, NGM’s Aleix was not in a mood to spare anyone has he outstripped Jorge in the final minutes and ended the session as winner.

Alvaro Bautista of Go&Fun Honda Gresini also had a great session in Sachsenring, as the Spanish rider finished the race before Marquez and teammate Dani Pedrosa at number five position. Whereas, local hero and LCR Honda MotoGP rider Stefan Bradl was able to seize seventh spot even after leading all the riders for a long time during the session. Pedrosa finished eighth, while Pramac Racing’s Andrea Iannone and Yonny Hernandez secured ninth and tenth spot respectively in order to round up the top ten.

The unusual result of the first practice session has raised the alarm for top riders, especially for Marquez and Pedrosa. Just as RiderWear has raised alarms for its rival stores by offering cool and high quality motorcycle accessories and clothing at cheap rates.
