Yamaha Wants Valentino Rossi to Stick with Them Till the End of His Career and Even Beyond

Valentino Rossi had made it clear even before he had signed a new two-year agreement with Yamaha Motor Co. that he is looking to extend his contract with his current team. Thus, when the doctor signed the 2015 and 2016 contract with Movistar Yamaha MotoGP during this week, he was extremely proud and happy. However, Rossi was not the only person in Yamaha team who was jubilant over the signing of new contract, as the Managing Director of Yamaha, Lin Jarvis was also very happy with the new deal. In fact, the executive of Yamaha said on this occasion that they want Valentino to stay with them till the end of his racing career and even after that.

These words must be pretty encouraging for the veteran rider, as Rossi was little uncertain about his sporting career and gaining a new contract from Yamaha before the start of the 2014 season. With this, now clouds of uncertainty are finally over him, so it is anticipated that Valentino will be able to do even better in the upcoming rounds. Given that Rossi has got the ticket to race with Yamaha till 2016, but Valentino’s fans would be expecting something more from the experienced rider. Yes! You are damn right they must be hoping that Rossi should now reach the top step of the podium by out shining the reigning Moto GP world champion Marc Marquez.

Thus, now this should be Rossi’s next target, as so far the doctor has not been able to outstrip his Respol Honda rider. Though, he was able to give Marquez a tough in couple of races during this season, but eventually it was Marc, who managed cross the finish line before Rossi every time. Valentino has already said that he is devising a plan to beat Marquez, but it remains to be seen when he will be able to implement that plan. The fans do not doubt his ability, as Rossi has proved that he is still very competitive. Surpassing Marquez’s teammate Dani Pedrosa in the last lap of race in Catalunya truly depicts it.
That’s not all Rossi has won the Moto GP World Championship title seven times during his career of which four were with Yamaha. In fact, even in this season Valentino has been able to reach the podium on five occasions after participating in races. That allowed him to secure 128 points so far and a joint second position in the standings, which is not bad by any means. In short, Rossi has the capability to beat Marquez, if some how he managed to deal with the top speed of Honda machine.

As far as Rossi’s future is concerned, his plans after 2016 are still an open debate. Some speculations suggest that he could continue to race in Moto GP even after 2016. However, when it comes to the motorcycle clothing or accessories offered at RiderWear, one do not need to be uncertain about the quality of the products, as the leading store of the UK only stocks top class products.
